Bold Design & Practical Performance in the 2025 VW Taos

In 2022, Volkswagen released the Taos, a subcompact SUV that’s perfect for city drivers who want an easy-to-park, peppy car with plenty of interior space. Three years later, VW gave the fun-to-drive Taos a refresh with more horsepower, upgraded technology, and new exterior styling. In the Pottsville and Hamburg area, J. Bertolet Volkswagen is the place to find your new 2025 Taos.

The Ideal City Car

The 2025 Volkswagen Taos is designed for city driving. The subcompact SUV fits into nearly any parking spot, but it’s surprisingly roomy on the inside. The four-door, five-passenger SUV has one of the largest cargo spaces in the subcompact market. With the rear seats up, the Taos has room for 27.9 cubic feet of gear, and with the rear seats lowered, the cargo space jumps to 65.9 cubic feet.

Volkswagen has always been ahead of the curve with IQ.Drive safety features, and the 2025 Taos continues the tradition. Whether you drive in or out of the city, you can trust your safety to the Taos. It comes with popular features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning, Pedestrian Detection, Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers, and Forward Automatic Emergency Braking.

More Horsepower Under the Hood

Volkswagen upgraded the engine in the redesigned 2025 Taos. The turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder delivers a satisfying 174 horsepower. Every Taos comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, but drivers can choose between models with front-wheel drive or 4Matic all-wheel drive.

If you choose the front-wheel drive Taos, your vehicle will get an EPA-estimated fuel rating of 28/26 MPG. The all-wheel-drive models get an EPA-estimated 25/33 MPG. The Taos fuel ratings are better than average for the subcompact SUV class.

Innovative Technology

Another 2025 upgrade for the Taos is on the inside. All models come standard with an 8.0-inch infotainment screen. The entry-level S trim has a coordinating 8.0-inch instrument display. It also has Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a pair of USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, HD radio, and four speakers.

The mid-level SE trim comes with additional tech features like remote start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, wireless device charging, and a third USB port.

The top SEL trim comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Volkswagen also adds navigation, ambient interior lighting, and an eight-speaker stereo.
