Two brand-new crossover models will follow and fit in beneath the Tiguan in terms of size. What is the T-Cross Breeze?
Debuting at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 1, 2016, the T-Cross Breeze is a brand new Volkswagen compact SUV that also features a modern soft-top convertible. The unique T-Cross Breeze is the first of its kind in the class, and, while this is only a concept vehicle at this time, Volkswagen easily imagines such a convertible becoming a successful production vehicle.

T-Cross Breeze Engine Specs
In terms of the power underneath the T-Cross Breeze’s unique exterior, VW reports the crossover convertible is equipped with a 1.0-liter TSI turbocharged and direct-injection gasoline three-cylinder engine that makes 110 horsepower and 129 pound-feet of torque. Power is transferred to the wheels via a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. With this powertrain, the T-Cross Breeze concept achieves a 0-60 mph track time of 10.3 seconds. The compact crossover’s top speed is 117 mph. With a 10.6-gallon fuel tank onboard, the compact averages 47 mpg and has a total (theoretical) range of 497 miles/tank of gasoline.
