Allentown St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2015: This is one of the bigger events in our area, and it’s the 58th annual iteration of the popular event. This year’s parade is on Sunday, March 22nd at 1:30pm. Check out a handy map of the entire parade route here to stake out where you’d like to watch from. Don’t forget to bring some non-perishable food items for the Second Harvest Food Drive collection bins you’ll find dispersed around the route.
St. Patrick’s West End Pub Crawl: Now, let’s say you want to do a little celebrating the night before the parade and make a whole weekend in Allentown out of it? On Saturday the 14th there will be a Parade Pub Crawl with nine participating pubs around Allentown. Form a team and get registered — just $15 and you’ll get a t-shirt, specials, and a night of unforgettable fun with your friends.
St. Patrick’s Day at The Inn at Reading: Maybe you’d like something completely different? How about heading over to Reading instead fo a performance by The Donegal Rangers — traditional songs of Ireland, Irish drinks, and dinner specials at The Publick House Restaurant.
