So what would you consider to be a good way to end your summer? A killer barbecue with all your friends, some sort of red or processed meat grilling away on your Brinkman, cold frosty ones in a cooler? How about the last day down at the beach? The boardwalk is emptying out, your head and shoulders have become increasingly safe due to the lack of activity from the seagulls? How about entering a radio contest to win a car...and then WIN THE CAR!? Well if winning a brand new 2008 VW Rabbit S would be your way of winding down with Summer, then you and Willie Metz and his wife Tonya all have the same thought. Willie was one of our 102 contestants from our 'Get into the Habit of Driving a Rabbit' summer sales event and giveaway with the help of T-102 and Boyer's Food Markets.

rd, right here at J Bertolet VW, Willie was our 48th contestant trying to pull a Rabbit out of our admittedly lacking magic hat(hey, it still felt like a magic hat). T-102 was here giving cool stuff out and MC'ing the event. Boyer's was under the tent sweating away at the grill feeding everyone with hot dogs and soda for $1.00. All proceeds benefitted the Schuylkill United Way. Then came the time when our contestants got their chance to win. One by one they tried then Willie stepped up to the hat. With one pull, Willie became the winner of a new 2008 Rabbit. So was he Speechless? I think. Stunned? Uh huh. Going to have to hide the keys to his car from his kids? Oh yeah.
